“ Phenomenal meal. Credit to our server, Emmry, who was friendly, helpful, and made our meal that much better. We were celebrating a birthday and received complimentary champagne which was such a nice touch. The food was exquisite, everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. Highlights were the tomato salad, beef carpaccio, and the pork shoulder. The burger was amazing and unfortunately may be worth its price. I do wish they were served with proper fries. This restaurant definitely deserves its flowers and its legendary status. ”

“ Tried and true classic for a reason. Tasting menu during restaurant week was exceptional value. Warm friendly service. Exceptional cuisine. I sat in the “dining room”. Highly recommended. Great for casual upscale lunch or fancy dinner. Tavern side seems to be more walk in friendly vs Dining room which is reservation recommended. The food quality was some of the best, with the tomato salad I had being a season standout at its absolute peak produce window. Simply dressed with nothing missing or needing to be added. Delightful restaurant. Accommodative to vegan menu. ”

“ One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. The service was warm but professional. The food was perfect. The wine pairings were to my very picky specs. The atmosphere was quiet and the tables were spaced far from each other as not to be cramped. I’ve been to most of the Michelin starred restaurants in NYC and this I put up there with Per Se, 11 Madison, Eric Ripert’s place and Masa. Love it. ”
